The University Twente Scholarship (UTS) is a scholarship for excellent students from non-EU/EER countries, applying for a graduate programme (MSc) at the University of Twente.

Application Requirements | – First apply for MSc programme and receive (provisional) admission and student number – Not a current or former UT student – Not from EU/EEA; not eligible for Dutch statutory tuition fee or study loan – English proficiency: IELTS ≥ 6.5 (overall), TOEFL iBT ≥ 90 with ≥ 20 (speaking subscore) – Ranked among top 5–10% of your class (i.e., excellent academic performance) |
Exclusions | Not available to: Dutch/EU/EEA students; students in ITC’s Geo-Information Science & Earth Observation; pre-Master students; those eligible for Dutch study financing |
Notes | Scholarship does not cover tuition—only compensates for related costs. Ensure you can fund remaining expenses before applying. |
