Our coveted International Ambassador Scholarships are available to international fee-paying students who either:
- Are those progressing to their second year or third year of an undergraduate degree; or
- Those who have received an offer* to study a full-time undergraduate or postgraduate degree with us.
As an International Ambassador you will meet other international students on the scheme and you will be asked to help showcase UWL to prospective international students, including helping out with campus tours and webinars, participating in interviews, videos and photoshoots in liaison with our marketing teams or engaging with students who call us and want to learn more about your experience here.
*For new students enrolling in September and October 2025, bursaries are also available if you meet our advertised terms and conditions before 4 July 2025. You can either select a bursary (assuming you meet the conditions) or, pending a successful application, receive an International Ambassador Scholarship.

| International Ambassador Scholarship | Merit-based tuition fee discount of up to £1,000 for first-year undergraduate or postgraduate students. Involves representing UWL at events and marketing activities. 20 scholarships available annually. |
| Patricia Evans Composition Award | A £500 prize awarded to a high-achieving composition student at the London College of Music. No application—recipient is nominated by the College’s selection committee. |
| Phil & Yoko Leader Award for Innovation in Music Technologies | A £150 prize awarded for innovation in music technologies at the London College of Music. Recipient chosen by the College’s committee. |
| RZQ Finance Scholarship | A bursary worth £5,000 awarded for undergraduate or postgraduate students at the Claude Littner Business School. Selected by the School’s committee. |
| Salim Janmohamed Scholarship | A £5,000 bursary for students (undergraduate or postgraduate) selected by the University’s committee. |
| Sara Jayne Stanes Chocolatier Prize | A £500 award for talented patisserie or chocolatier students at the London Geller College of Hospitality and Tourism, selected via internal nomination. |
| Other Merit-Based & Course-Specific Funding | Includes alumni discounts for returning postgraduate students, awards for music, business, and hospitality students, and hardship support. |
| UWL Aspire Bursary (Undergraduates) | Covers essential core textbooks plus a £200 fund (full-time) or £100 (part-time). All eligible students receive this automatically—no application needed. |
| Help to Achieve Scholarship | A £5,000 scholarship available to both home and international students pursuing undergraduate or postgraduate degrees. University selection committee selects recipients. |
| Learning Disabilities Nursing Bursary | A £1,000 bursary awarded in addition to NHS grants for students studying Learning Disabilities Nursing. Automatically awarded after successful completion of Year 1 for relevant students starting in September 2025. |
