Academic Excellence International Master’s Scholarships 2026/27

The Vilnius Academy of Arts (VDA) is pleased to announce a merit-based scholarship intended to recognise outstanding academic and artistic achievement among international applicants to its Master’s degree programmes.

Financial provisions: The scholarship is awarded in the form of a 50% reduction of the annual tuition fee and is available to five (5) outstanding candidates.

Eligibility: The scholarship is open to international non-EU applicants applying for Master’s degree studies at VDA, regardless of their citizenship or chosen programme of study.

Selection process: Scholarship recipients are selected solely on the basis of the highest admission scores achieved through the VDA admissions process. Successful candidates will be informed of the award after the general application deadline for Master’s degree studies (early July, 2026).

Scholarship / Program	Details
Lithuanian State Scholarships – Full-Time Master’s Degree	Funding for full-time Master’s or integrated studies at Lithuanian universities, including a monthly stipend and support toward study costs. Eligibility and funding amounts vary by country.
Short-Term Studies Scholarships	Financial support for short-term studies (up to one semester or part of an academic year) covering study costs and a monthly allowance for international students.
Lithuanian Language & Culture Short-Term Scholarships	Scholarships for 1–2 semester Lithuanian language or cultural studies, covering living and study expenses for foreigners, people of Lithuanian origin, and researchers.
VU FEBA Admissions Scholarship	One-time financial award for motivated international students admitted to economics and business programs at a Lithuanian university.
Tuition Fee Waiver Scholarships	Some universities offer full or partial tuition fee waivers for high-achieving international applicants based on academic merit and motivation.
Grand Duchy of Lithuania Scholarship for Ukrainians	Monthly financial support for outstanding Ukrainian students studying at Lithuanian higher education institutions.
General Eligibility	International students, researchers, and lecturers may apply for Lithuanian state scholarships that can cover tuition fees and living expenses depending on the program.
