- It is mandatory for applicants to submit online applications at the Hungarian website and HEC website. Failure to submit online application forms on BOTH websites mentioned at Step (1) and Step (2) will not be considered for further processing.

| Mandatory Dual Online Applications | You must submit online applications on both the Hungarian scholarship portal and the HEC scholarship portal. Failure to apply on both means your application will not be considered. |
| Hard Copies (Initial Stage) | Hard copies and attested documents are not required when applying online. However, you should keep printed copies of both submitted online forms for your records. |
| Later Hard Copy Submission | After nomination, you will be required to submit hard copies of both application forms plus attested academic documents, medical certificate, and police clearance when requested. |
| Online Application Forms Language | Both application forms must be fully completed in English. |
| Passport-Style Photo | A recent passport-type photo (taken within the last two years) must be uploaded in the online application. |
| Motivation Letter | A typed motivation letter (minimum one page, standard font and size) in the language of the chosen programme or Hungarian is required. |
| Language Proficiency Proof | Scanned proof of language proficiency is required, with translations into the language of the selected programme or Hungarian if necessary. |
| Academic Certificates | You must upload scanned copies of relevant academic certificates (secondary or degree certificates) and translations if the documents are not in the programme language or Hungarian. |
| Transcripts of Records | Scanned transcripts for all academic semesters/years completed must be submitted, with translations if required. |
| Medical Certificate | A recent medical certificate showing satisfactory health must be uploaded by nominated applicants by the specified deadline. |
| Passport Copy | A clear scanned copy of your passport’s personal data page must be included in the online application. |
| Statement Acceptance | Applicants must accept the online application statement in the Hungarian online system; scanned signed copies are not to be uploaded. |
